Two boys and a girl meet on a seemingly regular Friday evening in Mika Kaurismäki’s prophetic sci-fi venture. The setting is clearly urban and safe Helsinki.  But the period is a lot less clear and certain - it''s chaos in some post-disaster time.The boys’ sole purpose in life is playing pinpall. The machine is a means to escape from what the world has to offer. Call it private rebellion, if you will...But all good things must come to an end, or that''s what they say. Can one block the world out, with just a pinball machine?
